MR6 was flagged off by The Johor Tourism Exco, YB Freddie Long

FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) and Malaysian Rally Championship 6 (MR6) ceremonial start was held on August 18, 2006 at Danga Bay, Johor Bahru. This race started last night and will be ended on August 20th. They will compete each other stage by stage at oil palm estate in Kota Tinggi, Kluang and the last stage will be at Johor Bahru.
